Sri Sri Ramanuja Trust

Tiruvannamalai, Andhra Pradesh – In a world moving at lightning speed, where values are often compromised for convenience, there shines a humble yet radiant light of hope and tradition—Sri Sri Ramanuja Trust, founded on 6th October 2012 by Sri Madakala Vasudeva Reddy, a devout follower of Sanatana Dharma and a lifelong servant of society.

What began as a quiet mission rooted in faith, justice, and compassion, has today grown into a living embodiment of selfless service (Seva), touching thousands of lives each month through cow protection (Goseva), Annadanam (free food services), and community harmony.

A Trust Born from Sacrifice, Struggle, and Satyam (Truth)

Before founding the Trust, Sri Vasudeva Reddy walked a path of immense struggle and sacrifice. As the only educated person in his family, having completed Post-Graduation in Political Science from Acharya Nagarjuna University, he recognized early on the transformative power of education, especially for the marginalized.

In 2001, during the by-elections in Badvel Constituency, he made history by fighting for the rights of Scheduled Castes, securing a special polling booth for them—something that had not happened in 20 years. With the support of Dr. V. Sivaramakrishna Rao (ex-MLA) and Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy (then CLP Leader), this mission was accomplished despite severe resistance from local political and social forces.

This was not just a political act—it was a Dharma Yuddham (righteous struggle), reflecting the very values that would later form the foundation of Sri Sri Ramanuja Trust.

A Sacred Temple, A Living Community

At the heart of the Trust lies the Sri Raja Rajeswari Ammavari Temple, a sanctuary of peace and divinity. It is here that the Trust performs daily prasadam distribution, Vedic rituals, and spiritual services—welcoming everyone, regardless of caste, creed, or status.

The Trust is home to a Goshala housing over 70 cows, all nurtured with love and devotion. The feeding of cows is not seen as charity—it is a sacred offering, a connection to our Vedic roots.

Values That Speak Louder Than Words

  • Seva (Selfless Service): Every act here is an offering to the Divine—from nursing an injured calf to feeding a wandering soul.

  • Dharma (Righteousness): Inspired by the scriptures, the Trust walks the path of truth, justice, and compassion.

  • Inclusiveness: Every person, regardless of their background, is treated as family.

  • Community Unity: Through festivals, rituals, and service, people are brought together in celebration of shared humanity.

Transparent, Ethical, and Purpose-Driven

The Trust operates with full transparency and ethical discipline. Every rupee donated is directed towards service-based activities, and financial accountability is maintained with utmost sincerity. This has made Sri Sri Ramanuja Trust not just respected, but deeply loved by thousands of devotees and supporters.

Education: The Silent Revolution

Though this journey began in the realm of politics, Sri Vasudeva Reddy chose to walk away in 2004, believing that true change begins at the grassroots—with service, spirituality, and education. His life stands as a testament to how one educated individual can uplift an entire community.

Today, without fanfare, he sends a quiet but powerful message: “Let no child remain uneducated. Let no soul go hungry. Let every life be touched by dharma.”
